At Stella Maris School we define ‘curriculum’ as all things we do that support the learning of students academically, socially, physically emotionally and spiritually.

Curriculum is explicit with clear outcomes across formal learning areas including English, Mathematics, Science, HASS, Art, Music, Health & Physical Education, Technologies and Religious Education. We believe it is also about social skills, emotional and mental wellbeing and the faith formation of students. Other programs and events which are timetabled weekly include: Daily PE and Making Jesus Real (MJR)

Our school like all systemic Catholic schools is teaching the Australian Curriculum. Our school is also aligning our practice with systemic documents including:

  • Teaching and Learning Platform
  • Assessment and Reporting
